VOLUNTEER FOR THE FESTIVAL

This year, the Heart of America Shakespeare Festival celebrates its 16th year of presenting FREE Shakespeare to the community.  Come join us for an evening in Southmoreland Park.   Every night of the Festival, we need volunteers to help greet and serve our audience.  You only need to spend a couple of hours to REALLY make a difference!

Jobs include

• Program Sales
• Food, Drink, Reserved Seating and Concession Sales
• Raffle and Drawing Sign-up
• Passing out programs
• Selling tickets, concessions, souvenirs
• Assisting patrons with information and seating.

CORPORATE AND COMMUNITY VOLUNTEER GROUPS

The festival welcomes corporate and community volunteers.  You can reserve your date for 20-25 individuals from your company or group to volunteer in the park.

• Team building activity
• Encourage company awareness and exposure
• Corporate and group recognition from the stage
• Fun evening of community service

YEAR ROUND VOLUNTEER

There are several opportunities to volunteer for the festival year round.

• Staffing the Festival’s booth at the Plaza Art Fair
• Help with Fundraising events
• Assist in mailings, compiling data and administrative support

The festival is eager to put your volunteer talents to good use any time of the year.
